The Founder
Danielle Marie is a master cosmetologist and educator licensed in Georgia and Pennsylvania, specializing in natural hair care. Since 2012, she has worked at top natural hair salons and earned certifications as a Loctician, DevaCurl consultant, and Sisterlocks consultant. Dedicated to education, Danielle developed a licensed continuing education course on curly and kinky hair care, and she frequently travels to beauty schools, leading workshops to teach others about natural hair.
Her expertise has been showcased in magazines, major hair shows, and collaborations with brands like ORS and Taliah Waajid. Danielle’s mission is to help clients understand, care for, and embrace their natural texture

I Woke Up Curley LLC began as a unique curriculum dedicated to the care and maintenance of curly and kinky hair. Founded by Danielle M. Diggs, an experienced cosmetologist and natural hair specialist, the curriculum was developed as a certified continuing education course in Georgia.
